Tap the search icon, type what was recommended, and our AI instantly finds all the details — the title, description, category and more. You then save it with one tap. You can also use voice or your camera to search.

Your recommendations are currently stored on your device in your browser's local storage. This means they stay private and don't require an account. If you clear your browser data, your saved recommendations will be removed.

Yes! Tap the microphone icon to search by voice, or tap the camera icon to point your camera at a book cover, menu, poster or product and the AI will identify it automatically.

Recmends is a recommendation-saving application operated by Recmends (ABN to be inserted), a business registered in Western Australia, Australia ("we", "us", "our"). The App allows users to search for, save, organise and act on personal recommendations across categories including books, restaurants, travel, health, beauty and more.

By using Recmends you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (users under 18 should have parental consent), have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement, and are not prohibited from using the App under any applicable law.

Recmends does not currently require account registration. Your saved recommendations are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and any data stored on it.

The free plan allows up to 20 saved recommendations at any time. Deleting a recommendation frees up a slot. No payment is required.

Premium plans provide unlimited saves and all features:

Payment is processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise recurring billing at the selected interval.

You may cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are considered within 14 days of charge in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Contact recmendsapp@gmail.com.

Recmends participates in affiliate marketing programs. When you tap "Find it" or "Book" buttons, you may be directed to third-party sites (Amazon, Booking.com, The Iconic, ShopBack and others) via an affiliate link. If you make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We are not responsible for third-party content, pricing or policies.

Our affiliate relationships are disclosed in compliance with Australian Consumer Law and ACCC guidelines.

Recmends uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to identify searched items. AI-generated information may not always be accurate, complete or up to date. Ratings and descriptions are for informational purposes only. Verify important information before making purchasing decisions. Camera identification and voice search results may vary.

You agree not to violate any applicable law, reverse engineer or tamper with the App, circumvent the free tier limit through technical means, use the App for unauthorised commercial purposes, or transmit harmful or unlawful content through our support features.

Your saved recommendations are stored locally on your device — we do not currently have access to your saved data. Support emails and category suggestions you send voluntarily are used only to respond or improve the App. Payment data is handled by Stripe and governed by their privacy policy.

All content, design, code, branding and materials within Recmends are owned by or licensed to us and protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Recmends is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss or damage from your use of the App, or for third-party website content. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

We may update these Terms at any time. The current version is always available at recmends.com/terms and within the App. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia. We encourage contacting us at recmendsapp@gmail.com before pursuing formal action.
